:D

Not sure if I can make it after all :( I'll be be back with more info once I have more info...

I'm planning on showing up, but I'm not sure I can host on my (comparatively crappy) work computer. I might be able to, but for some reason I have my suspicions. Thus, if Jarkko is not able to put in an appearance, we might need someone to step up and play host this weekend.

lol, too bad it's too late for patrick stewart. Well, hopefully one of his sons or grandsons will be named that. No matter what their stats, they will become the heir... ;)

Sorry, I do now confirm I'll miss the session again :(

Hm, it's only 2:00 here, four hours to game and I am tired as hell... :( I think I'll catch some ZZZ and have the alarm ringing when it's game time. I still might sleep through the alarm unfortunately, so if I am not around by 15 over, start without me.

I wont betray you on why you didnt go to bed on time

More bad news. I am feeling ill so I guess I am going to bed in the time of the game. (Sorry, but I am kind of sick from friday night so I prefer to rest)

Amazingly, it took Sterk only one session to begin the disintegration of Scotland. ;)

I'm telling you, it would have happened anyway. That's why I did it, my diplomacy dropped to 0 because of pneumonia and illness!

You should have tried to assassinate an AI king that you might have had a legotimate grudge against (ex- Burgundy after he rebelled) in hopes of getting assassinated yourself. It's kinda gamey, but all of us make some decisions based on game strategy rather than role-playing.

You just need to be more cautious and patient, Sterk. You are right that you would have been doomed, but that's in part because you had a REALLY high reputation penalty. But, then again, you might not have survived long enough to have had your rebellions had Hyzhen not bailed you out in Iberia. It's not a coincidence that the two countries that have lasted the longest without suffering severe rebellion (Germany and Hungary) have both been guided by a policy of SLOW expanison and careful management of BB. And even in that, Germany has still had several minor rebellions.

How did Poland fare?

Btw, Sterk, king's diplomacy 0 is not a reason in itself for kingdom fall apart. My mad Piast had diplomacy 0 for something like twenty years and I managed to keep Poland in one piece.

Of course diplomacy 0 coupled with loads of badboy and unwillingness to send gifts to vassals can lead to ugly results.

From what I saw, Poland did fine, apart from the fact that quite a bit of your personal demesne was handed out by the AI...

Well, my king had eight sons nearing adulthood when we ended last session, so no wonder he gave out new counties. It's not a big prob though as one has to cope with AI's style if one lets AI run things...
