Surendering England

In my current game I play Germany, am allied with Italy, Nat. Spain & Syria (after Vichy France); I've invaded and conquered all of Britain save Scapa Flow by dec 1940. After taking Scapa Flow I got the England surrenders pop up and all of a sudden I discover England has turned Fascist, accepted to give Germany Plymouth, Italy Cyprus and the Suez Canal - but didn't give Gibraltar to Spain despite being conquered since sept 39.

Was all this scripted specifically for Core ?

Also during the reconquest of Spain in '39 (which the allied had invaded halfway) Germany liberated the Baleares - but after the peace they didnt revert back to Spain. I tried giving them to her but they're not even listed as possible choices. Bug ?

AFAIK, CORE uses the vanilla surrender events. In those events Gibraltar is scripted to go to Italy.

When you mention peace do you mean you annexed someone? Or do you mean it's still owned by Spain but controlled by Germany?

Still owned by Spain but controlled by Germany... I think I'll just edit it back to Spain.

And Gibraltar has been returned to Britain - not to Italy or Spain.

The surrender event, was it called Negotiated peace with the United Kingdom? It has two choices for demanding surrender or continuing the fight. Or was it just a notification event? Spain had control of Gibraltar before the event? What is your version of CORE?

I think the ally control bug is a vanilla HOI2 bug. You're right, editing it manually is best. Wait, I just looked it up and this is WAD for HOI2. Read the details in the link here .

Ok, it could be a problem in the event for 0.30. The current version is 0.3.1.5, so it might be fixed in there. I have that version so that could be why I'm not seeing it. Submit a report to Mantis just to be on the safe side.
