Surrender confirmation in Designers Cut?

The features page for designers cut http://www.eic-game.com/?page=designers_cut
says Surrender confirmation - Ordering a ship to surrender will require confirmation to prevent accidental surrenders.

Is this in the Impulse/Steam designers cut version? It's not in Privateer, which I've been assuming has all the new dc features.

Seeing as they were giving away the DC as a separate download if you pre-ordered Privateer, I'd say it doesn't include everything.

Do you have Designers Cut? If so, does it have a surrender confirmation? So far as I can tell all the other new features such as nicer water in the strategic view, the new interface but no more 3d/2d ports,and the islands are in Privateer. Along with the bug of having to continuously re-battle ships you've sunk or forced to surrender.

I have the Disinger's cut and and you don't need confirmation for surrender, it's just like in the old version.

Yeah, that bug is also there.Sometimes you have to do the battle over and over with no result.I had it with a frigate from the pirates.

Another thing that stayed is that your fleet get stuck in front of a port.And because you only have one fleet(maybe two if you were able to keep the other one, not in my case) it's game over.

I don't play this game any more if you don't fix these bugs.What's the use of add-on's if you don't deal with your faults.

There is a confirmation popup if you click the surrender button in Designer's Cut. Oddly this feature didn't seem to make it to Privateer, will report this issue forward.
