Description
Colonists don't obey specialization affinity with their job

What is your game version?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
It doesn't appear that Colonists obey the affinity that their specialization should give them with their workplace.

Geologists will eagerly work in Hydroponics while leaving a job opening unfulfilled in the extractor, or leave it fulfilled by a medic with no other job, or even a botanist.

Reviews like these already mention it as enraging:

During your Quill18 sponsored videos, it happens right underneath Quill18's nose.

(at 12:57)

He has an infirmary with 1 medic and three other people, among which a botanist and a geologist.
The moment he switches down the priority, meaning less people work there, it's the MEDIC who moves out of the infirmary first, instead of the botanist OR the geologist, who are unsuited. It's the MEDIC who is supposed to stay!

Why would the medic do that, other than this being a horrible oversight in programming?

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes, by playing the game in general.
