Description
Colonists suffocate if oxygen is in a closed loop

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have 2 tunnels connected to each other. Both tunnels are also connected to a dome, forming a triangle. Random colonists in the dome start suffocating even though there is enough oxygen for them. I'm guessing there's some sort of safety to prevent infinite loops in pipes that make a circle, and that safety isn't kicking in correctly. Strangely, water works fine.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. I have a save file I can't figure out how to get out of my steam machine.

Very similar issue as the thread-starter, without closed loop
(@Homeshine you'll find your savegame in $XDG_DATA_HOME/Surviving Mars/)

Colonists suffocate in one specific dome

Several colonists in a fully maintained, powered and life-lined dome start dieing due to suffocation.
I connected an additional Moxie with two tanks directly, closed all life-line valves, shut moxie and tanks down and fired everything up again but the unexplainable deaths keep going.
Colonists are running around on the outer section of the dome - not leaving it - and keep minimizing their population.

Can you replicate the issue?
no need to replicate... they just keep dieing xD

Not sure about the issue for the OP without a savegame, but your issue goomStar is a bug reported by others related to the position of a polymer factory. With the polymer factory positioned next to the dome with the door towards the dome (as yours is) colonists running outside between the dome and the polymer factory can get glitched through the wall of the dome, so they are inside the dome....but the game still thinks they're outside and they suffocate when their suit air runs out.

As a workaround until the bug is fixed you can rebuild your polymer factory either a little farther from the dome, or rotated so the door itself is farther away from the dome wall.

When I think through it, occurrence of breathe-amnesia and build of the poly could match-up pretty exactly. Thanks for the kind advise, I'll fix that in my next gamestart. Glitching colonists sounds pretty logical in this case.
Thanks for your good support!
