Description
Completely blocked tunnel (not the collapsed tunnel)
Windows
Steam
What is your game version?
What DLC do you have installed?
Space Race, Green Planet, Below and Beyond, Stellaris Dome Set, Marsvision Song Contest, Colony Design Set, Project Laika, In-Dome Buildings Pack
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I want to emphasize that this is not the item "collapsed tunnel". I know perfectly well how a collapsed tunnel works with the tech needed to clear it. This is a bug with the marsquakes blocking off a tunnel similarly, except it can never be cleared at all.
Frequently, the rubble from marsquakes lands on the side of a "hill" in the underground. Rubble also only has a single "key" rock that the RC dozers and drones target to get rid of the rubble with the 'clear rubble' command. If the 'key rock' is too far up the hill, the drones and RC dozers cannot reach, and then can not clear the rubble at all. This is blocking the tunnel entirely, forever.
Also sometimes rubble happens in the same place as stones for decoration in the underground, but I can not use the "clear" (flatten) command/tool to get rid of the stones, with the error "object blocked". This is because the rubble in the sky blocks the way of the clear/flatten tool! Again, the marsquake rubble is in the middle of the sky and the drones cannot reach it to clear it.
I have attached a save file that has both of these happening. The fix is to make sure every single rubble can be cleared with the RC dozer and by drones.
It used to be, even if the rubble was too "high up", the RC dozer would clear it anyway, even though the RC dozer was nowhere close to the rubble in the sky. But apparently someone removed that safety from the latest version, so no rubble sometimes blocks passages entirely.
Problem occurs even if mods are disabled.
Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. Every game I have has at least some downhill rubble, and it's easy to turn that into a completely blocked tunnel if conditions are right/wrong.
