Controls lag and are unresponsive so the curser floats around on PS4

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I lose control of the curser and it floats wherever it wishes, also the buttons lag so choosing things becomes impossible. I’ve tried restarting the system but to no avail. First time this has happened on a surviving mars map.
Can you replicate the issue?
It’s replicating on its own, it doesn’t need my help
