Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The game crashes to desktop, seemingly randomly, I have all the graphics settings on max. I have no mods installed. The logs have the following error: Hook 'Shader :: CompileEffect' not found!

Can you replicate the issue?
The game usually crashes soon after I start

I think that error is spurious, it only occurs after the game is already exiting for some reason.

The first log shows sme old maps being updated. Does this also occur if you start a new test colony now?

Interestingly, the log file from other attempts gets deleted. I was able to start a game and exited before I crashed. It looks like the game is for some reason shuffling the order of the map array. Attached is a log of the from loading into a previous auto save, a couple days prior. Additionally, it looks like the file size decreased?

I see your save files are approaching 50mb, and I have seen occasional other reports of issues happen at that point. I haven't been able to duplicate it though!
