Destroyed Rogue Drones can't be Scrapped

SPOILER WARNING for AI Mystery!
While scanning anomalies that spawned after researching the Number Six Tracing tech for the AI Mystery, I of course discovered that as the scan completed, not only was the Commander RC disabled, but a handful of drones went rogue and started to attack the colony, with each drone blowing itself up as it destroyed something (usually a water tower, air tank, or water/air/food producer).
After that initial experience, I started packing all Drones into the Drone Hubs so none would become Rogues, but I found a few Drones in the colony after all should have been pulled into their Drone Hub or RC Commander that weren't reporting to a Drone Hub, Rocket or RC Commander. I could tell these were "special" - I couldn't reassign them to anything, and the Salvage button on the drone was missing. I'm fairly certain these then became the Rouge Drones after an anomaly was finished being scanned. I suspect this was all an intentional tweak to how the game works to prevent the packing away of droned from working to prevent Rogue drones. However, when these drones were destroyed as part of their attack (as usual), they still can't be Salvaged. It seems reasonable that this is a bug, as the first round of rogues (that attacked before I knew to pack away all drones before analyzing the anomalies) were salvageable.
I kept playing until completing the AI Mystery, and found that taking out the last two anomalies simultaneously resulted in the last batch of rogue drones being converted to Orphaned drones or disappeared (what was 9 rogues became 1 orphan), but the earlier-destroyed rogue droids that weren't able to be salvaged were still there and still couldn't be salvaged.
I also noticed at least one drone was able to be salvaged during this time. However, I'm fairly certain that it was a Rogue created while all Drones where out and active and not spawned by an anomaly scan.
It should be simple enough to have the system re-display the Salvage menu on the event of a drone being destroyed.
ALSO: No mods, but DLC Project Laika is installed.
Can you replicate the issue?
I've reloaded an earlier save game and repeated the drone packing before analysis completion, and it again resulted in the bug that destroyed rogue drones couldn't be deleted.
