Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I queued a few drones into drone assembler. The building stored 10 electronics. Then I researched breakthrough "Printed Electronics". My electronics disappeared and the building had 10 metal stored. I understand, that the building is now supposed to consume metals, but I would expect the electronics to be intact, usable elsewhere, not converted to metal.
Can you replicate the issue?
I didn't try, but it seems pretty straightforward.
