Firing a colonist cancels entire work group on ps4

What is your game version?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When trying to fire colonists from a job or limiting the amount of colonists that can work a particular shift, the entire shift is toggled off. When hovering over the empty work spot on PS4 and pressing the square button disables entire shift. When hovering over a colonist working and pressing either the square button to fire or the x button to select the worker it disable the entire shift.

Can you replicate the issue?
This happens even after restarting the game.

Sorry about that - we're aware of the problem, and we do care about consoles very much. The problem has already been fixed (a look at our source code repository showed that it was fixed the next day after the patches went out for certification). Unfortunately the console patch/update pipeline is a bit slow.
 
That is all i wanted to hear. Knowing that it is getting fixed is all i needed. It has just been an incredibly frustrating 48 hours for me not being able to play the game i waited so long for. I understand the process is slow. Im sorry for my outburst and thanks again for the great work. I just wish it would have been posted up with the other known issues sooner before i went on a ranting spree everywhere i could
 
Sorry - I can't promise you anything concrete right now.

The certification process with Sony and Microsoft is not very fast, so it makes sense for us to wait a few more days to gather more bug reports before even starting it.
 
So i paid 40$ for an incomplete product i wont even be able to use properly for realistically another week. Yet you guys already got paid by everyone on console for the game. I could understand if you already got the ball rolling on fixing it, but youre not even gonna start that for a few days. Since i opened it i can't even get a full refund now. And you tell me you care about console players. I don't see anyone from PC suffering from this issue. Ohh wait they can use mouse and keyboard. I understand the process takes time, i couldn't even begin to comprehend how much back end is involved in something like this, but how wasn't this caught beforehand. Its not like this is a minor bug either, colonist management is an important part of the game. You guys should stick to PC games. Im done, ill take losing a couple bucks to return this turd
 
The delay here is nothing to do with us or the developers. Console platforms insist on qualifying patches, and they take as long as they take, we have no say in it.

On PC/Mac/Linux we can release patches on our schedule.
 
You guys need to calm down, how could they know about these issues before hand? Not very manny people play consoles at least their being nice about it and fixing it as soon as possible. Every new game is going to have its flaws nothing is ever perfect
 
I purchased the PS4 Deluxe Verison for over $60 yesterday and now I’ve discovered this bug hasn’t been fixed in over a month.

Are you guys still intending to fix it?

I can’t progress because when I attempt to open a second Shift in any building it only switches with my current active Shift when I press X or Shuts Down the whole building when I press Square. Also I’m unable to close individual Slots by pressing Square just like the original bug report states.

Please respond. I’ve enjoyed the game till I started using buggy Colonists/Colonist Buildings. Thanks!
