Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
While playing, the game crashes and is unable to load the game code halfway through. I was trying to take a screenshot but the game disabled me ftom doing so either. I re-installed the game, revalidated the steam files multiple times. [NOTE: Save I'm sending in, is using 2 mods, but without mods I have the same issues).

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. By just plating the game for 60 minutes.

I understand that, but you said the update came from our site? But we do not host Windows updates ... ?!?


I still cannot read .dmp files, I'm afraid! Is there anything useful in the game log this time?


Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ after say 30 minutes' play.
If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install
SPEEDFAN http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

I did this. Temp is 66 degree celcius before and when running the game 10 minutes in. Clean install of steam, Game crashing after 10 minutes of playing. Black and white screens all over the place. All my other steam games started working again, without problems.

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue but on a Mac (14" Pro w/ 16gb Ram). Any advice? I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling both the SM game and the Steam app itself.

Has the game ever run OK on this machine? Or never?

Please attach here the latest log from the game :

~/Library/Application Support/Surviving Mars/logs/

To find that file, in Finder do cmd-shift-G to bring up the GOTO box. In there paste ~/Library/ . You will see a /Application Support/ folder, and inside that /Surviving Mars/ and then a /logs/ folder. Please attach the latest file from in there to here by dropping it on this support ticket, or use the "Attach file" link here.

Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.
