Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
when I create a new game, after selecting coords for the colony, before you select location for the rocket to land the game freezes for about a minute.
In the log file attached below I found this: Map changed to "BlankBigTerraceCMix_16" in 42625 ms.

Can you replicate the issue?
create a new game with custom or default options and select any coords, before you choose where exactly to drop the rocket, the game runs for 1 second and then it freezes for about a minute and then works again

Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620

I'm afraid the game is not supported on any Intel video system, I suspect that is the issue here.

Is that the only problem you see on that hardware?

It only happened recently, with the new update, before that it was working fine, and its the only problem I'm having at the moment, everything else is running good

Yes, but the minimal reqs for a video card is: "Graphics: HD 4600/Geforce 620/Radeon 6450 or equivalent GPUs with 1 GB of video RAM"
which means they don't test and make sure it works on your intel chip (or support it when issues happen).
