Windows 7 (x64) SP1 all .NET Framework installed and updated

On launching from Epic Games: -> Shows "Running" in Epic Games app -> Blank (black inside) Windows opens up with "Surviving Mars" in title bar -> After a few seconds, window closes -> Epic Games opens up again and acts similar to when I normally exit a game. [No error code]

On launching directly from executable (normally or with Admin privileges): Blank Window opens up with "Surviving Mars" in title bar -> After a few seconds, window closes [No error code]

No Mods have been installed (nor downloaded) for the game as of yet.

Suggested : temporary rollback of update.Can you replicate the issue?

Since the tourist update the game crashes after 5 minutes of play. I tried unloading and reloading with no resolve. The season pass is useless if it keeps doing this

Thanks for the outreach @Denniss. Checking threads on r/SurvivingMars indicates problems are also there on XBox One in the least.
