Game won't launch or start at all

What is your game version?
Latest, i can't even launch the game to tell

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I cannot launch the game, i've tried reinstalling the game, verifying files, launching from the executable instead of steam, nothing will work, i also tried reinstalling the game to the base directory of steam

there's a microsecond where the "marssteam.exe" is open but it just dissapears. there is no log whatsoever created in windows eventviewer, and the logs created by the file do not contain any information pertaining to a crash.

I'm also having this issue, but i found an annoying workaround. If I quit Steam and relaunch I can get the game to run once then the issue returns.

I think it's actually crashing on exit not on launch. Somehow Steam isn't being told about the game closing correctly resulting in Steam attempting to stop it from being relaunched.
