Description
linux: numeric values have graphical glitch

What is your game version?
227923

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Mostly in the in-game UI some numeric values have some glitch. Mostly they are fine, but sometimes they are simply not there, or some time only some part of the number appear in a completly different font, one time even a % value where a plain number should habe been.

Arch Linux, Radeon R9 M265X, amdgpu (open, xf86-video-amdgpu-18.0.0-1), vulkan enabled (vulkan-radeon-17.3.6-1)

Can you replicate the issue?
i restarted the game 2 times and the issue was still present

I am having the same issue, also on Arch, also using xf86-video-amdgpu.
My GPU is an rx vega 64 though, and I don't have any vulkan-related packages installed.

Note that the game is not supported on Arch, just Ubuntu or SteamOS.

I now hear a fix for that is in the works, hopefully in the first patch.

Sorry about that problem!

Generally getting steam to run on any flavor of Linux is more of a hassle than getting a particular game to run. If you're going to make me setup an ubuntu virtual machine just to show you that I have the same problem, I could, but most problems with steam games on Linux are distribution agnostic in my experience.

Not really true, steam come with a series of library tailored to steamOS (debian, IIRC) and so ubuntu. On Arch or you use those lib with a more updated "backend" (by running "steam)", or you run steam-native that is not even try to use the boudled libary (by runrning "steam-native", a arch's official magic around "STEAM_NATIVE=1 steam" to take care of some quirkness).

This can and will make a great difference; but those are simply a preview of the problem ubuntu/steamos will have, if not patched in time :)

This problem is already fixed in the first patch.

just log in into the game, it is indeed fixed, and also i got a lot of steam achivement (no that i think about it, i never get them before, so i guess there was some bug there too).

Started a new game, so far so good, GOOD JOB!
