Mac OS Lake Rendering Bug: floating bight white artifact

Mac

Steam

What is your game version?

Do you have Space Race installed?
Yes

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have one "Huge Lake" in my colony which visually appears to be empty when I look at it (even though it's at 100% water level) and anytime I pan the screen close to where the lake is, and zoom out, a large, floating, pure white artifact appears on the screen (not necessarily on the lake, but I believe it is roughly in the shape of the lake). Deleting the lake does not get rid of the artifact. The temperature of the planet is high enough that the water is no longer frozen.

Some hardware details:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Processor Name: 8-Core Intel Core i9
Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz
Memory: 16 GB
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M
Intel UHD Graphics 630

Can you replicate the issue?
Anytime I quit and reload the save, the artifact(s) remain. I built another Small Lake to see if the issue repeats, and it created another bright white artifact. The Small Lake also did not appear to visually fill with water.

Forgot screenshots, here they are: original artifact. My partially filled Small Lake filling, but with no water texture inside, and then zoomed out to show the new artifact from the Small Lake.

Some other details I forgot:
OS: macOS Big Sur Version 11.4
Surviving Mars Version 1001586
