Mars Beyond and Below - Elevators stuck on "The construction site is being cleared"

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Just got Below and Beyond, been playing and everything's working fine. When I attempt to build an elevator in the correct spot, it gets stuck on the phase "The construction site is being cleared". All resources are available, the drones aren't doing anything either, can't manually get them to do anything.
I removed things that were in close proximity to the elevator, made no difference.

Can you replicate the issue?

I had this issue happen with a dome. Resources are available, drones aren't doing anything else but they still won't clear the construction site.
 
I have had this on several building types now (with the latest patch).

For most building types, the work around is to delete the construction site and then build it again in a slightly different position.
This obviously does not work with the elevator as the elevator can only be constructed on set positions.

Same here, tried an elevator, dome and even a depot. In the case of depot, tried a different position and worked. For the dome, even if I moved it a little, it didn't work. I tried leveling the area but the problem remainted. Then tried to convert terrain to another type and relevel and this seemd to have done the trick.
For the eleveator though, no solution but thankfully, there are two entrances on the map and the other one didn't cause a problem.

mmmmm will try that with surface builds. but the convert terrain tool isn't available underground or on asteroids (and the problem is there as well.
 
Guys. it is incredible. The problem might be fixed manually with loading needed resource with single drone and loading to the future building - once all resources here - it will be constructed. there were no stack with other building, but with elevator. so i put storages really near, and delivered it all one by one by single drone. good luck, guys. hope there will be official fix, but still it possible to complete without ending the game.
