Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Win 11, brand-new professionally built gaming rig. I don't use any mods. My PC shuts down/restarts after approx 55-60 minutes of play, every time. New colony, saved colony, doesn't matter. I do not have this issue with ANY other game or program. My video card, OS, and BIOS are all up to date.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. All I have to do is play the game for an hour and my PC shuts down with no warning or error message. Interestingly, I see in the attached files that it claims I'm running Win 10 and the date is May; both files are actually dated 7/25/22.

In the game please go into Options, Display. Make sure Vsync is ON and set frame rate limit to, say, 60.


If that doesn't help Please attach here the latest (ONLY!) game log file, from here:
C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\logs\
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Plus, DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.


Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ after say 10 minutes' play.
If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install
