What is your game version?
1010838

What DLC do you have installed?
Space Race, Green Planet, Colony Design Set, Project Laika, In-Dome Buildings Pack

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
You've disabled Silva's UCP mod again. I've complained about this more than once and it's affecting my enjoyment of the game. The first time I reached out to Silva who I think may have said two people reported the mod. Two! TWO!! I mean, come on. This sort of thing leaves the Mod Manager's report feature wide open to abuse by any pre teen troll who gets their warm fuzzies by screwing up other people's enjoyment. And it's happened a couple of times since then before tonight. It's insane. I mean Silva's mods are good enough that Paradox even put a selection of them into a paid DLC, which by the way I was happy to buy to support the game as well as Silva's work.

So this evening I fancy a couple of hours of colony building, I fire the game up, I get the content restriction warning for a mod I know my colony uses and right away I wonder if there's even any point bothering or if Paradox has broken my save again. But more in hope than expectation I persist and just as I'd feared I can't load my saves. Any of my saves, because I'm only working on one colony at the moment.

So now I'm just sitting here thinking "Would I have bought this game if I'd known Paradox were going to repeatedly, though granted inadvertently, stop me from playing it?" I don't know the answer to that yet but to be honest it only partly depends on how quickly the Silva's UCP mod is restored, because really the main thing is you guys coming up with something that prevents this from happening.

So please, just fix this. I had a lousy day and could really have done with sending my mind to another planet for a couple of hours and I'm pretty unhappy that I wasn't able to.

Can you replicate the issue?
As explained above, the problem is that a particular mod has been disabled by Paradox.

As I posted in your other thread, it is not Paradox doing this, it is Steam or their moderators. There is nothing we in Paradox technical support or the Ascension support folks can do about this.

Please have Silva contact the Steam link he'll have, to appeal the removal. If that doesn't work out he needs to lodge another support ticket and Paradox management will look into it.

Hi Andrew. I just replied in the other thread but to reiterate, this hasn't got anything to do with Steam and I don't know where you've got the idea that it's a Steam Workshop mod. It's available there too, yes, but I got it from the Paradox Mod Manager. All three or four times I've found that it's been disabled without warning it's been on the Paradox Mod Manager. That's why I'm on here trying to get Paradox to review it and see if this is again just some clown reporting it for lulz.

I got it from your OP:
Yes, that's the answer I gave where the bug report asks which platform I'm playing it on. That doesn't mean I get the mods from the Steam Workshop, it just means that's the platform.

And hassling Silva about it is less than ideal. Okay, so if Silva has time to get on to Paradox about it then the mod can be restored, great. For now. But it doesn't address what seems to be a more fundamental problem: any griefer seems able to just hit the report button in the Mod Manager and, if they pick the right mod, actually stop players from being able to play their games. This is a) bonkers and b) obviously outside of Silva's control. And sorry but also c) what I've had to complain about more than once now.

This only seems to happen to him at this level, I wonder if some individual is running a campaign against him.

He has logged tickets with us before, I can only repeat that he needs to do so again now. I'm sure if he asks for more than just the restoration but further action, he will be taken seriously.

If you have steam then I'd install mods from the workshop instead, then you won't have to deal with paradox platform (make sure the paradox copy is removed beforehand).

For anyone that doesn't have steam: You can log out of paradox and restart the game to disable the warning.

I get it too :) From what I've been told it's mostly people asking me questions :(

I logged in just to say that I have found this issue too, I wanted to update the mod to the newly released version 1.0, only to find that it is nowhere to be found on the Paradox Mod Manager.

I really do not understand why those (like me) who got the game from outside steam would get this kind of "second class" treatment.

Would there be a way to manually install this (and/or other) mods without the need to rely to Paradox Mod Manager?
