Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
To those it may concern,
So I've been running into a bit of an issue lately. For the first while I was playing the game, I just wanted to play it vanilla, get a real feel for it, and I've really enjoyed it, but I'm wanting to add a couple mods now. I don't have the Steam version of the game, only the Paradox Launcher version, and I've probably spent a combined 3-4 hours trying to figure this out. I've even talked to someone who's been making mods for SM and their advice didn't seem to work.

From everything I've found, in order to manually add a mod, you go to %appdata%\Roaming\Surviving Mars and when you get there there's supposed to be a "mods" or "Mods" folder there, but my install didn't have such a folder, so I created one, and then just extracted the single test mod(Info Bar) into it, but nothing is happening. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if there's something wrong with my installation, but either way, I could use some assistance.

I appreciate your time and attention on this matter.

Can you replicate the issue?
On my system the issue is replicatable 100% of the time by following the steps listed in the description of the issue,
