Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I've been playing a new game with the Sphere's mystery. It came up with the first mystery log at Sol 69, but it's now Sol 227 and I've had NOTHING. No option to research anything relating to the mystery. Nothing has happened. Not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong.

Can you replicate the issue?
yes - using same mystery on different save file.

update: still having issues. tried a new save file and i sitll can't get to the first stage of the mystery.

After you scanned that sector then the sphere appeared (as per the msg)
