Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
In a new surviving mars game I tried to build trains, but for some reason on Xbox 1 you can't rotate train tracks or build them on the ends of stations. I tried to build the track in the first track part attached to the station and was the only spot where the game said I could build it but wouldn't let me place the track. I destroyed my first station and built another one that was oriented the same way the track was but it still didn't work. I built another station right across from the other one and i could build the track but I couldn't build to the station near some metal. IDK if this is a terrain problem or a track length problem but if I could've built the track separate from the station and attach a station later or rotate track segments this would've solved the problem

Can you replicate the issue?
The issue is replicated in the videos below. I tried to rotate the track segment and nothing happened and only after building a track directly across the first did the track place.

On the first two pictures you are not starting from the right hex.
On the 3rd unfortunately I can't read the messages on the right with red.
On the 4th you managed to build it so it seems ok. When you build tracks you can click intermediary hexes where the track will make turns. Not familiar with XBox controller but you should be able to do it the same way you make explicit angles to the passages
