Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
It's been a while since I played this game, on my return,

the Drones completely IGNORE the Waste Dumping Sites next to them and they prefer to move the waste in a Dumping Site far away.

I also saw a the drones emptying one dumping site to move the waste to another, with no reason at all.

All Dumping Sites are build next to their "industrial" areas were they are needed.
They are all set to 0(default) or 285(max) - both numbers should have worked.
I only play with Large Dumping Sites, I didn't try if the bug exists in the smaller ones.

Can you replicate the issue?
I tried a new game and still the same problem. No need to do anything extra.

I'm not aware of this problem being reported by anyone else.

Have you done a clean reinstall of the game since you last played it some time ago?

Any mods in use?

actually there are multiple reports at Steam and probably here as well.
Senn this in my game as well. in many cases they will not use the nearest depot. It sometimes looks they prefer the oldest depot in range
