After trying some mods I've come across a few that I'd really love to play with but I'm having issues.

Mods that won't download.
- Stellaris Radio v3
- Surviving Röhm v5
- Martian Carwash v0.5 (Fixed)

Trying to download through the in-game mod manger fails to download, with the spinning icon only showing up briefly after selecting install.
Subscribing through the online mod manager then launching the game and enabling the mods show them in the installed list but they still don't activate or show in-game.

Crashing during installation.
- All Sponsors v0.1
- Dome Teleporters v0.5
- Mark Deposit Ground v0.4

These mods crash the game the moment the install button is pressed using the in-game mod manager.
Subscribing through the online mod manager causes the game to crash shortly after entering the main menu.

Broken mod functionality.
- View Colony Map v0.9

During the set up of a game with the mod installed values in the rocket payload screen don't update.
In the Colony Site screen the site map preview doesn't show and I'm not able to move the cursor or start the game. Only the back, custom and random buttons work.
Using the custom and random features does move the cursor to a new site but the information on that site doesn't update either.
The threat and resource meters don't show anything.

Duplicated Mods.
- Construction: Show Max Radius Range v0.4
- Construction: Show Map Sectors v0.2
- Construction: Show Hex Grid v0.2
- Construction: Show Dust Grid v0.2
- Construction: Show Drone Grid v0.4
- Construction: Show Dome Passage Line v0.9

After installing these mods, exiting and relaunching the game the mods show duplicates in the installed mods list which can't be uninstalled unless the games reserved space is deleted. The duplicated mods don't show in the online subscribed list.

No controller support for Mod Config Reborn?
Not sure if it's a actual bug or just a limitation that comes with using a controller.


I've tried deleting all game data, reinstalling the game and DLCs but that hasn't fixed any of the issues.

Hopefully other people are able to verify whether or not these problems exist for them too so they can be fixed and I can get on with enjoying these awesome mods :)

I've had problems with all that you listed, and maybe a few more (which others I can't say for sure because my game crashed in the start menu until I went to the website and uninstalled that way*). I don't believe Paradox quite knows what they are doing yet...

*and even then I had to delete the reserved data because there were a few stubborn mods that would not uninstall any other way

Yeah it's still early days and I'm sure it'll get better, but from what I can tell there isn't enough feedback and discussion on the current state of console mods. I'm also curious to know if Paradox do any kind of curation/internal testing or if they leave it up to the modders.
 
The radio mods won't be working until at least the next update. You can use a mouse for the Mod Config Reborn and other mods, there is a Hybrid control mode now. There is no curation for the moment. :)
 
mmhhhh the game keeps crashing as well when u build to big my first playtrough i geuss i had to many robots or people or resources it just keeps crashing after a certain point
second playtrough same problem , now i dont really want to start for a third time , itl just happen again
 
:( I see a lot of my mods there, the only testing I can do is with a controller on the PC version.

Though this thread is a kinda old, are they all still broken in the same ways or do some of them work now? Also have to see if GP update fixes any of the issues.


Hi ChoGGi!! I thought I'd chime in and let you know that the Duplicate mod issue is still very much present. But hey man. I LOVE your mods!! I simply disable the Duplicates. It all works perfectly! The Teleporter mod is my Ultimate favourite!! You did such a great job, sadly it doesn't play with Controller. So I switch to Hybrid and use the mouse to place one teleporter in each dome, obviously each connector has to line up, but it still works great!! Problem is, my colonists (I had at Sol 350. Around 1500 Colonists) think it's so great, that they are backed up in massive queues, all lined up to use the Fun Port. (it's what I called it) and they are very impatient! LoL

Your other mods are also really cool, trouble is that with each new Update for SM. It brings with it a lot of new UI and Core changes that are probably different on console compared to Pc, so it's not your fault man. I don't mind playing around with your mods and jotting down, compiling a list of which ones don't work as they're supposed to, and which ones duplicate and the ones that don't play nice with other mods from other Modders etc. Would you like me to be your Tester?

I think you're an Awesome Modder btw! I really enjoy playing my game with your mods, Silva is great also! I use yours, Silva's and Luke's time mods. They're my favourite. Please keep them coming man!!
 
I thought I'd chime in and let you know that the Duplicate mod issue is still very much present.
Probably a paradox platform snafu.
You did such a great job, sadly it doesn't play with Controller.
So far I see it doesn't move when I move the controller, so I will be able to fix at least that issue :)
