PEBCAK. By that I mean you've done something you shouldn't have.

Disable all other mods.
Don't put any mods into the folder that has the "DontPutModsHere.txt" file (which is located in the Steam CK2 folder). https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Mods#Installation
Don't interrupt the download once it's going.
Use the included .mod file, do not create your own.

I had some trouble setting up the SVN program after i installed it and i think that might have messed up the download of the mod. I deleted Tortoise and the EKSVN folder and then reinstalled both. I just started up the game and the cultures/ religions are showing up as they should so i hopefully its fixed.

Hey. Appreciate the SVN. Dunno if this is a bug with current SVN build or not, but I'm having an issue - if anyone could help with this, that'd be great.
Downloaded TortoiseSVN and got the EKSVN file in there, and after some tweaking I managed to get CK2 to start loading up. I'm on the lastest update of CK2, 3.2.1. Whenever I load up, it stops loading at "Talking with Magnus" and when I check the log, it gives the following:
######## EXCEPTION: 0xC0000005 at address: 0x015B3F0E: ACCESS VIOLATION read attempt to address 0x00000000
Version: Unknown Version

No other mods loaded, nothing else. Including what I've got for my mod folder below as well.

I don't see it. What folder is it in?
Edit- Nevermind, I'm stupid. I just looked and saw that I've apparently cocked it up somehow. Apologies for wasting your time. Thank you for your help!

Question, is there some other way to get for Linux or just general non Windows Users like myself, especially since Tortoise SVN is Windows Only and I don't know what else to look for?
It may already be installed depending on the distro. Try svn --version, if it outputs something then you already have it, if not you can install svn with your package manager, then checkout to the directory you want to clone the EK repo to and type svn checkout https://svn.elderkings.de/ElderKings it will prompt you for username and password and proceed with cloning.
or svn checkout https://svn.elderkings.de/ElderKings -r HEAD --username guest --password kimupayo to omit auth prompt.

Love that people are still trying to help, sadly I didn't have Linux for long, but luckily I got Windows 10, so i'm back to using TortoiseSVN for now, Thanks for all the Suggestions for a work around Though!

Is this only obtainable through repository?
It is, aye. If you'd prefer not to use SVN, there's a manual download available here on the subforum as well as the release on Steam Workshop (I'd recommend, in order, SVN then the manual release then the Workshop). Do bear in mind that the other releases will always be out of date compared to the SVN

That's the thing, i'd like at least one release tht is up to date for the current version

As has been discussed in the Workshop comments, certain issues make compiling a non-SVN release unfeasible for the time being. While an alternative approach is being considered, the SVN will, of course, remain public and up to date as it has been for years. For those unwilling to use the SVN, Steam allows for you to roll CK2 back to 3.0.1.1 very easily in the betas tab for the game and your continued patience is appreciated

Just a quick question from the changelogs, can duel undead, or will duel undead?
Like, the player can, or the AI will too?
As being undead is fun, and having people try and kill you is even more fun.

I don't know how often the AI challenges someone else to duel, but you *might* see some characters challenge you because you're an undead
