Hi, modding community.

I apologize in advance, but I'm a complete noob to modding :p.

I'd like to swap the graphics of decorative (meaning: road with trees) and non-decorative roads so that I can build a road that lowers noise pollution but still allows cims to park their cars on the roadside. I know that it's not needed for gameplay, but I just find it more aesthetically pleasing to see parked cars in my residential areas smaller roads while I would like to retain the lower noise pollution effect of the trees.

I've looked over the Steam workshop and there doesn't seem to be a mod yet to do this.

How should I go about doing this? Could it somehow be done with the ingame Asset Editor or do I have to write a mod file?
Can it be done at all? :p

Thanks in advance for your help!

This is a tough one. I think user @boformer has been working on something similar. I would search him out on Reddit/Steam and see maybe if he has some advice. He's been very popular with a lot of new modders so I can't guarantee he'd help but I know he's a wealth of knowledge and has made some superior mods for this game.
