Syncing playsets that just have Steam Workshop mods?

I'm not sure where a good forum to discuss this is, but: is there a way through the launcher to sync playsets across computers when your playsets don't have any "Paradox Mods," i.e. they're all from the Steam Workshop? I play Paradox games on both my laptop and desktop, and this would make sharing playsets between the two much more convenient!

Unfortunately, playsets are not a thing on Steam Workshop and we'll probably never try to save external ID:s on our mods servers - Too many ways for that to break in subtle and annoying ways. There is a "share playset" function in the launcher, that'll serialize your playsets to JSON though. Those files can naturally be saved somewhere available on both your computers and imported wherever you need it (also, backups are a good thing in general )

Besides you can create your own collections in Steam Workshop (I use this to synch playsets between different people for multiplayer). Of course you still have to manually synch them with your playset(s) in the launcher but it's a possibility.

I already organize my mods in the Steam Workshop, I just have different playsets for different total conversion mods that each have a ton of submods I use. So it's a bit annoying having to continuously export/import playsets between devices whenever I end up changing anything (removing out-of-date submods, etc.), particularly on my Steam Deck. I'll just set up a Samba server or something to make it more convenient. Thanks, though!
