Enjoy!

I have the origional TCBR and the Beta TC2M and I beg to differ with the reviewer that there is not enough difference between the two to justify the cost increase. First, TCBR was WAY under priced IMHO (and isn't produced any more) and secondly, TC2M has many more different ways of playing and more maps, more graphics, better and more ballanced AI, more experienced troops, etc, etc. In short (though the reviewer gave TC2M a 7 out of 8) I don't believe he was that acurate with his review and missed aspects of the game which don't add to game play, but actually multiply the enjoyment of it.

"MY POORLY WRITTEN INTRODUCTION..."

Followed by a poorly written--and overly long--composition...

Here's the Cliff Notes version...

"Is Take Command: 2nd Manassas worth the increase in money? If you already own the first game, I’d say no: there really isn’t that much new content or expanded features (other than a new battle and the progressive scenarios) to purchase this new version. There’s still no multiplayer and essentially the same graphics. Take Command: 2nd Manassas is worth $40 by itself for the amount of content it provides, but it’s still hard to ignore that basically the same game was available for half the amount not too long ago."

i've played the first game, the beta and finaly the Demo.

and i can see big difrenses.

even tho the Historical battles are great. what gives the game it's longlivety(sp) is the open play, and it's here the bigest changes are. the much improwed AI, and many new typed of battles, and the cool new graphics make this game 10 times the first game.
