Hi,

I'm quite new to Iron Cross (not new to HOI2 though) and I've installed it over Armageddon.

What I don't fully understand is that I started a 1933 game as the Soviet Union and played right up to the beginning of 1936. When I had a look at my IC I noticed a large tech effect penalty. After some browsing I understood this could had to do with the peace time effect tech.

Following that I decided to have a look at the standard 1936 scenario, and noticed that at the start of the game, the SOV had around 30 more IC and a much lower tech penalty. Can anyone explain where this difference is coming from since in both games the peacetime tech is activated, while the penalty seems to be different.

Hi,
I don't know if this is case, but there is a possible explanations: peacetime_ic modifier can be modified by event too, so perhaps there is an event in 1933 scenario that allows an increase of the peacetime IC modifier.
Please be aware that this is just a speculation.

Yes

1936 and 1933 have minor differences (like 1939 or 1934).
