I am playing the Earl of Ulster, and I've sent my bishop off to learn the wonderful technology of Dyrrachion.

Rather than send the tech back to me, the tech seems to want to go to Dyrrachion...except it doesn't go there either. It seems to go nowhere.

Needless to say, this is rather disconcerting. I suppose I must execute my bishop for incompetence.

Are you sure? He will, as far as I know, only increase the tech in the county he is in, in contrast to the Spymaster who will indeed study foreign technology (spying).
 
OK. Seems logical that you'd go where the tech is to research it...:)
