While playing igc 2.0 i went to save my game, and then, my game closed in the middle of the save. Later i go back to open the saved game, and no shields appear for you to continue your game, hours of time gone to waist... This happened twice now, can anyone help me out? Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
hmmm, i havnt had that happen, but i have noticed that as long as i have about 350 meg free it tends to not crash ever, whereas it did a lot with less. i always keeps 2 save files going, that way if one gets mess up i still have a backup, sorry i couldnt be of more help.
If the game crashes in the middle of a save you are out of luck. Your only option is to go back to the last good save you had.
Not to excuse Paradox for having the game crash, but this is a major problem in the software industry (of which I am part of) - it takes a great deal of work and effort to "reduce" exposure to crashes, but it is never eliminated. Bad luck...
First if you have downloaded something other than Paradox official updates there is a good chance you didn't do something right. I speak from experience to the last point Also you might want to check to see if there is any data in that save if not Patrick's got a post on the very top of this forum. Try checking that out it has to do with games not saving any info.
