Hello--

I've recently purchased Crusader Kings II via Steam and was dismayed to learn that the game was unable to advance past the start up phase (crashes during 'loading' phase). I have a MacBook Pro, and was unable to locate a solution specific to the Mac version. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the content, to no avail. At this point, the game is completely unplayable. Looking for any and all guidance-- a word of warning, I am not skilled with computers in the least.

If you have the Intel HD3000 video, the Mac game is unsupported on that card as yet due to problems with Apple's OpenGL video drivers for it. The requirements state:
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 6750 / NVIDIA GeForce 320 / NVIDIA GeForce 9600 or higher

A Paradox dev has said they will consider working around that issue in a future update, but nothing is guaranteed as yet.
