Temporary Title in IronMan = Game Over

So I was playing as the Holy Roman Empire and wondered why I could never quite Form Alliances with the Byzantines (ya know, so we could take out Pagans and what not).

It turns out the Basileus had a "Bulgarian Revolt" title from two hundred years previous that, once I inherited it, basically 1) can't be destoyed, and 2) I cannot grant titles.

Game over. Iron Man has no save feature so there's no going backwards.

Researching previous threads, this has been a known issues since 2012.

So why has it never been resolved?

Is someone, anyone, going to patch this, or am I just never playing C2K again? I've logged hundreds and hundreds of hours and this is the most annoying thing ever, enough for me to actually post about it.

I'm not sure what you are hoping we in technical support can do for you.

If you believe this is a game bug, as it seems, them please post a properly formatted bug report in that forum.

Do you refer to the game in general or that specific campaign ?

If you have used an old save file, and started some patches back and played over several patches, so played an old campaign,
then this is something that can happen and couldn't get patched out in this case, as the bug is likely cemented in the ironman save file
based on the patch that was buggy.

That would be my guess.

As has been said above, the Bug reports subforum seems indeed a more appropriate place
and in its own thread,.. than a dev diary thread.*
