How can I get "conqueror" trait as Temujin? I belive there is some special event, but I don't know requirements.

I've also had a lot of trouble triggering the narrative content for Temujin. One time out of five I was able to get the conqueror trait and the Mongol empire, randomly, and the other times the events just randomly ceased to fire, even after decades of play.
