Here is attachment of two savefiles:

autosave.eug and oldautosave.eug
Jonesy from Russian League gave me 1561 save, reporting that there is CTD in 1580-1585, when he manages to trade all the time usually.

I checked. Got couple of ctds since 1575. Then i hired Pirates near 18 ships of russian fleet in Northern Ocean (eastest prov), and played until 1589. Then i loaded once more. Played until 1581 without problems. I loaded once more - immediate crash.

File from Daniel. All the time CTD in the same year, no matter you do. But when i loaded as Incas and killed their rebels (and used columbus and did some trading in europe) i could play until 1591 without problems, than abandon.

I see that some people here are making a glaring error.

Just because Skane does not have a land route to germany does not mean it cannot get german MP. You get MP from all the provinces in the continent that your capital is on.
You merely lose a little bit of tax for not having a land connection.
 
Report after installing the fix:
autosave.eug - played 1 year without problems
test.eug - ctd in first days.

No idea if that the fix helps ongoing problems.

Did you miss the fact that all provinses had the same manpower/tax value :confused:

in the beginning no.. but later on in the game as it progress... yes:p

but armanacs Cot generates more money then say skånes or albanias..

but i did some test games with the nations i wanted to be.. armanac and brabant got 12-13 in income after the first 2 years but albania only 9 and close to 10:D

and it's easy to join england in the war and grabbs some land.. ottoman empire is a pain in the ass so is hungary in the beginning as moldavia and albania. England is a pain in the ass for the scots. skåne might do good against sweden or norway if the join either side in the beginning as the they always declare war on eachothers when denmark got smaller:)

I have already explained two of my main goals with this campaign, I wont hypertech Scotland, you can be sure of it. :D

Tried to play as Scotland and defeated the English after a few months, no worries. :D

well tried daniels save now 3 times and it crashes when i press the national flag at the top left corner everytime:)


i tried brabant,livionia and saxony.
 
I took the dl the save, ran it for a year, saved it again and editted the year to 1575. I then ran it for 20 years to 1595, without any problems.

This suggests to me the same as Tonio's finding, that it is revolts in the Americas that are the problem causing the CTDs. Lots of opportunities for this to happen because of all the empty space there at the beginning of the scenario. Revolting TP => CTD.

Henry shallt perish under the skill and shere number of the scottish army.

Scotland prevails!

Scotland has no problems at all, I played it for like 10 years, united the isles and moved the DP sliders.

I just got home from work, and I have to admit I am in no shape to see over my monarchs and decide DP. I hope I can get until 1 PM tomorrow to do these decisions, because this was all very unexpected. :(

You must ask if you do not understand.

Have you understood what you must do with the monarchs and DP sliders?

Well, it has been written in post 6 for quite some time now.

But what can a poor GM like me do. :( OK, wait until noon tomorrow.

Thus, all of us can wait until noon tomorrow with our definite edit requests of monarchs and sliders. If you have already PMed them to FAL you can always PM him again and change your orders.
