Daniel, i find your issue about giving bonus to you and Albania if Karaman will be played - totally wrong.

You and Albania should be happy to get bonus of AI Karaman, and as you noticed, you benefited from it. So if Karaman will be played, Karaman should get cookies, not you.

Regarding your AAR - 1-1-1 monarch rules, much better than 10-10-10 :p

Let us make something EXTREMELY clear. Me and Aladar did not benefit one iota from Karaman not being played, because we all know BEFORE the auction that they were not among the possible nations. Anyone could have made a high bid for them and gotten them. Let me never ever hear something like this again. :(

Open the screenshot with paint, save it again and change the file type to jpeg.

Thanks a lot Bob, you are a knowledgeable man.

However, the stats site only accepted one of the images so my beloved nation does not show, it is too far to the East. Strange, one could dl four images to the stats site but only one is shown.

Have you checked the bottom of the stats page?

Lyko,

We cannot create any new nation that has impact on the balance from start.

We could theoretically create a new nation at some neutral place, but what would that be?

America? Then Scotland will complain (not John because he dislikes colonising :p ) and perhaps Skåne.

India? Well, perhaps.

China? Nah, do not think so.

Africa? Like Zimbabwe? Well, perhaps.

Stick them in the Persian area.

so I must resign from the game. :(

I suspect that WatK is not compatible between english and italian. Can anyone confirm this, or suggest how to make it compatible. Elio's clean WatK installation had a different version number when we were testing this evening.

This being Test of Skill, there should be no new countries. How do you compare someone with a second country against someone with their original? How do you compare someone whose original is impacted by the new country with someone who is not?

By all means declare a false start and treat the last session as a test. But do any restart completely afresh from the auction, with any changes that experience of this start suggests. e.g. Papal for Naple.

Either completely from scratch, or continue from the position we reached.

You thought you had balance. Players bid according to their style and the strategies they imagined for different countries. Some worked and some didn't. That is the effect of skill. It unbalances. In other games it is reasonable to remake the balance but not in a Test of Skill.

If Portugal or some other country manages to conquer us all by 1450, I may regret my choice of bids in the auction, but I prefer to lose that way than to win (and losing is worse) when the game is rebalanced after each session.

You should test it out first with his clean 1.09 install and yours, if that works, he installs watK3 with the fix wrong.

Sorry, I meant Bourbonais.

I'd be willing to let Lyko in Castille, but only if its army is editted down to 1k and the treasury to 0D.

I have no problem playing with Elio on vanilla.

Elio told me he has tested watk3 succesfully MP with other italians.

The only other difference was that he told me he had to install the fix twice because there was an error the first time he did it.

Now, if you can give me a counterexample of an Italian that can play MP with other languages using WatK, that would be good because someone that speaks Italian will be able to tell Elio how to fix his installation much more easily.

BTW Lyko, thanks for being a good sport about our war. I completey agree with you, trying to destroy your country was way less honorable, but I'm not going to get to use honor as an excuse later on, since this is a "game of skill", so I did what I thought would help my country along. In hindsight though I should've let you off- this BB is going to kill me :p.
