Hello,

I have vision problems and upon loading this game for the first time today was sad to see how small the text seems to be. Instantly I exited and explored the CK files on my computer looking for something that might help make it look bigger. Long story short I found nothing and I think unless someone could please suggest a way to have the game appear larger I might not be able to play it really. Now I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but thank-you for any help you can offer on how to make the game larger can it even be done? :)
 
All game fonts are contained in the \ck\gfx\fonts folder, but I don't think there would be any way to change them due to the interfaces being at a preset sizing.

Is there any sort of utility that is made for games that run under DirextX that might allow a localised maginifying glass to be in effect under your mouse pointer? Such a utility might conceiveably work for CK, but I've never seen one that I can think of and I don't recall seeing a question like this previously.

I wish I could be of more assistance.

Just in case Castellon has seen something in his travels, I'll move this thread over to the tech support forum.

I assume you have large fonts selected in windows.

If you have a program that allows magnification, you can get the User mod that allows the game to be run in a window, then you may be able to use the tool?

I'm really clueless with this how do I select large fonts. I might have done this, but not realized it. I am really sorry for being dumb I'm just really bad with this stuff.

I will try the mod like you said. Thank-you for the fast reply. :)
 
Rightclick on desktop, then select properties from the popup menu.
Apearance, then you should see the fontsize selector.
Large and even extra large. NOTE: these may be incompatible with the game, I know there was an issue with them for one of the editors. But give it a try.
 
I woul dhave to go looking, if you start a thread in the scenario forum someone should be able to direct you. I know I have seen it for EU2 and I beleive it or a version of it is available for all Pdox games.
 
I think he has that, but the only chamce of it working is if CK is in a window, that is what he is hunting down.
 
I have pointed him to the mod he was looking for in the thread he started in the scenario/mod forum :)
