I was playing as Russia in 1.03, and I get an event where a third of my liquor is drunk in transit. Now that my produced liquor goes into stockpile rather than WM, I see my income DOUBLE. Turns out that until my liquor stockpile fills up, all the alcoholics in my country have to buy it from other countries, and pay max tarriffs to me. I saw this exploit mentioned before, but I never realized just how dramatic it is. This is not good for gameplay at all. So, to double my income, I have to CLOSE the liquor factories? This has to be fixed somehow, because it is game ruining and unrealistic, Russia has always made a lot of money by producing alcohol for internal consumption rather than by taxing imported Absolut.

Not entirely repeatable results but all runs eventually 5-7 days eventually settle out at 70 tariff income if no sales and 50 tariff income with sales. Which would suggest that tariff loss from 0.85 liquor per day is circa £20. The difference should only be £13.5/day. So it looks a bit wrong but not disasterously wrong.

I've got the same results when I loaded. However, when I played around a little with the sell/buy order for clothing and liquor, the tariffs came back to 500 territory, and occasionally peaking at 1000 pounds a day. I think you have to let them buy your stuff for a day, and then stop selling it again. If you still can't replicate it, I can post screenshots.

I don't deny that something strange is going on - I'm sure I got some different results playing around with the file last night. I can't spend anymore time on it as its not exactly repeatable but if you can get a 100% repeatable set of actions, post them and I'll forward it on to Johan.
