Many thanks for the kind words. AARland has brought to me innumerable benefits in my time here and this is the least I can do to help give back. And now stnylan is shouting at me from his flat in Somerset, "Well...you could give more comments you silly yank SOB!" He's not wrong and would probably say it a lot more artfully than I have attributed to him.
NB - I spoke with our illustrious stynlan quite recently and he is well.
For the words you conjure, you already deserve particular kudos, but then on top of them, managing the YAYAs, that is proper good job.
But for the post quoted above, now you outdid yourself. Sincerely grateful for bringing some good news to this part of the net; sincerely thankful for all the labour, work, endeavour.

anyway.
no. Was not joking when writing expect the onslaught.

Do not bother to look for the meaning of the original song, as they are mostly random words cherishing, celebrating, cursing, on the favela culture of brazil, making it one of the most brazil songs of Sepultura.
While appropriating, the naming convention for the games warroom, hall, realm, empire were used, excluding eu. The author politely declines to comment anything about eu, in particular eu4.

deleted the line: [Elements of 8, 9, 10, 11: -Concert- Subject to change as the bands may not comply with the timing]
Why? I don't always get it (but that is not unusual at my advancing age) but if one wishes to celebrate our achievements, let one. Despite the fact that I already designed the program itself, I'm curious to see this After Action Concert.
No need to write explicitly, as it is obvious, so it is unnecessary, but would like to indulge in the vile ecstasy of self-explanations. Fond of cold openings, sharp cuts, near-to-impossible-to-incredibly-convoluted transitions, and of course, abrupt endings.
But!
There are two more congratulations to be made, and they are the most important ones, if one has to compare the categories. They are not among those of the categories, though.
@coz1, by the ardent, patient, extraordinarily laborious work, wins it with a decisive vote. Not that this is a competition, yet it does not make it any less worthy. On the contrary, but sincerely, faithfully, eternally grateful for the work, coz1; standing in awe, felicitations, congratulations, salutations.
The other one is not an individual, but an entity, with the peculiar name of the community of AARland. Yet, the specifics have to be precisely given, which in this case, the voters.
Congratulations, the voters; you made at least eleven, but with high probability thirty three, and yet with great optimism and joy would like to declare, tens of writAARs, authAARs, editAARs, commentAARs, AARtists, readAARs, happy.
- Errr… bro, you are one of the voters. In fact, you were the first one. Are you praising yourself?
- Oh right. Sht. Uhhh, sorry about that – wait. DAMN IT who cares, want to enjoy the celebrations with everyone. So, shut up, you self-loathing voice!
- Ok ok, gee. Calm yourself.
- Gee to you! Enough of this self-deprecating dialogues.
- Woah. You got some courage, isn’t it?
- Oh sod off.
Ahem. Anyway.
Happy, is the word to hang on.
Until next time, take care, and CHEERS!

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
Once in a lullaby, oh
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dream of
Dreams really do come true-ooh-ooh
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops that's where
You'll find me, oh
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
And the dream that you dare to
Oh why, oh why can't I? I - ohh
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top that's where
you'll find me
Oh, somewhere over the rainbow way up high
And the dream that you dare to
Why, oh why can't I? [*]

- Err… mate, you have not been reading and commenting for a while.
- Yeah, you are right, hang on, trying to catch up. - Also you have not been updating that sorry work of yours lately.
- OH sht. Hang on, wait - - …and you missed the weekly awards. A lot of them.
- ...
I must say, Bravo, @filcat ! I am not sure that anyone, ever, has given such respect to these awAARds and while every voter gives over A LOT of time to vote (every bit of that time more than appreciated!), your reactions to the winners of each (and those others given nomination) is a great respect to all of them and our revered place of AARland. Thank you!
There will be more next year so start saving your gifs, pics and song lyrics now to celebrate and even encourage for the 2022 contest. (Also...I really must say massive respect again for using The Eurythmics in one of your toasts. They really are one of my favorites.)
And every one of you should start thinking of your 2022 ballot! Only 9 months left!
