When I am Germany,I blitz Belgium and the Netherlands immediately after I annex Poland and send all of my troops to the borders with Netherlands and Belgium.However,when I get into France,Italian AI DOWs Greece,and in my last game,Romania,who guarantees the independence of Greece,DOWed Italy.
In vanilla,Italy did DOW Greece only in autumn 1940,after the UK guarantee of Greek independence event has triggered.Is this WAD?If it is,why?

The AI will throw you a curve ball sometimes. My personal favourite was the time where (IIRC) Guanxi DoWed Switzerland, after which a veritable cascade of DoWs ensued, with the net result being that Italy, Hungary and a lot of South American countries were at war with China, Japan was at war with Siam, and the Allies were at war with Japan. Oh, and Egypt DoWed one of the bellingerents as well, but I can't remember which one.

Just reload an autosave and see if it fixes the problem.

I think this results from an early (i.e. before Spring 1940) war in the west, which causes the Italian AI to become more aggressive. The same thing happened in my current game - I invaded France and the Low Countries in the fall, and then Italy DoWd Yugoslavia, and Greece and Romania in turn DoWd Italy. Italy annexed Yugoslavia and Greece, but reached a stalemate in Romania. Once Italy joined the Axis I was able to impose a white peace with Romania, and then brought them into the Axis.

Just reload an autosave and see if it fixes the problem.

I wasn't sure if it was going to work or not, but was pleasantly surprised when it did. Otherwise I would have tried to annex Romania and then puppet them, but the Italians were getting close to Ploesti - it would have been a close race. Kind of an Axis version of Montgomery and Patton going for Messina . . .

So,when is the earliest date I could attack France and BeNeLux,and be sure Italy doesn't attack Greece so early?
