Might not help directly but Japan is a major and can offer goverment in exile after capitulation so not an instant game over for Finland.

Look at Siam here, they have been guarding their whole coast instead of helping in any other theatre. What a useless ally. Even Manchukuo is helping in far away fronts like Africa and Australia.
After they joined and the front lines moved away from their immediate vicinity, they offered expeditionary forces to me several times, but I refused, not wanting the hassle of managing their obnoxious templates and divisions. Now they won't leave their country. There should be a way of requesting expeditionary forces.
Is their AI different that they won't send troops away from their home, for "historical accuracy" or something?
the forces comparison happen per battleplan, not overall forces leading to weird miscalculations.
i know this because i dont use field marshall plans, but generals, so if i draw 5 frontlines at same border the system keep saying the front is "weak", despite i'm heavily equiped and outnumbering enemy.

If you refuse all their propositions of expeditionary forces, they will stop offering any more. That may also make them more passive to send their troops to other theatres.
Germany did join the communist alliance as monarchist, this should not happen.

Why not? The German Empire finally sent Lenin to Russia. Revolutionary by the grace of the german emperor. There should still be a few friendship points there. The austria hungary conection from the austria empire lasted until the 90s in some autorities. And at the end it's all diplomaty. Your argument sound for me as if the Axis were saying: Hey, USA, you can't give Russia a lend-lease.

What you're talking about is AI's willingness to 'join a war' against someone they share border with. Yes, then they think for a while before declaring/joining war if there are lots of troops behind that border (or none on their side).
Ofc. A single stupid AI decision can cause a massive cascade of other such failures, as it often bypasses other 'historical' AI restrictions.
One of my latest Soviet Union (historical) run was completely ruined when Portugal for unknown reasons joined allies in about 1944 (I guess UK invited them via that decision to invoke alliance), so far OK, but then they declared war on Spain (which was neutral) - as a result Spain joined Axis and it steamrolled Portugal, and closed the Gibraltrar strait - All the allied forces in the mediterranean were cutoff and died, because Italy managed to take Suez as well.
And THEN - after capitulating - Portugal declarared war on some communist nations in South America, which made them join Axis, this triggered several more nations joining Allies/Axis as well (including Venezuela, Brasil, Peru etc). And then they declared war on ME. Just 'because'. And all the Allies (now basically everyone in the world except Axis) joined against me as well, and now I got no access to Rubber and Aluminum and couldn't contest the insane amount of Axis planes attacking me. The war became a WW1 trench warfare that lasted to about 1949. The casualties on both sides were about triple that of actual WW2.
All thanks to 1 AI decision that shouldn't have happened in the first place.
