And i find it creepy how some folks deny objective reality.
I've come to the conclusion that reality is not objective; everyone's simulation and firmware appears to be different.

"Objective reality" being borderline homoerotic descriptions of gigachad aryan Alans in their wonderful mountain homeland, contrasted by the brown mongoloids they definitely never, ever shared anything with, and we need to especially stress that out?

I might be old-fashioned, but back in my day "objective" was that thing that was supposed to never get mixed with very non-objective things such as opinions on beauty and aesthetics and whether you prefer the plains to the mountains as vacation spots. Whenever I see that guy spend way too many sentences on repeating how beautiful this peculiar bunch of ancient goat herders were compared to the other Eastern, more modern goat herders, I tend to take whatever objectivity he was trying to sell way less seriously.
That ancient historians had no standards for their writing and kept bulging in with their personal opinions on how beautiful or ugly, or noble or savage each kind of barbarian tribe they were covering (hopefully by trying to do some research and not just make shit up on the spot because that was the literary style at the time) is, unfortunately, not the kind of information that's useful to us because it only tells us of the tastes of the unique weird tastes of the writer.

You know, it's like if I started off an argument on how to produce better pre-columbian representation in Paradox games, and as one of the arguments for why those peoples and cultures deserve better representation I kept bringing up how hot Chel from the El Dorado movie was.
And she is, indeed, very hot. But, objectively speaking, that has no bearing on the discussion.
That's why objective discussions are usually very boring.
