Alright, thanks anyway. Guess I'll just run the countries csv (unmodded and modded) through a document comparison tool - should do the trick ;)

Hello!

I downloaded this great mod and CK has crashed now two times to desktop, causing 'Fatal error' message. I just wondered is that error related to TASS and does it have a fix?

Does your game not crash in an unmodded version ?

AFAIK there is no crashbug caused by this bug.

I played a while ago the unmodded version and it did not crash.

No, it just randomly crashes. I'm not sure does it happen in unmodded version so I might try to install it and see if it crashes also. I'll let you know then.

i downloaded this mod today and noticed this soon after:

could this be related to the mod or is it something to do with my computer/game/settings/etc? it's been a while since i've played but i don't remember this from before.

I played approx. ten years without crashes with the mod. I believe the reason was that the hard disk where my windows is located, notfied about the lack of space and after I cleared the hard disk TASS has not crashed.

Bit messy but I hope the text is understandable.

Hey,

Its me again I want to install the mod I have downloaded it from file front, now what?

Put the rar-file into your main Crusader Kings folder, which usually is this path

C:\program files\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings

Then right+click on the file and select the option 'extract here' then answer yes when you get a pop-up where you are asked if it is OK to overwrite things.

To install it that way, you need a programm called WinRAR.

Technical question: do events cause slowdown in Crusader Kings like they do in other paradox games? I'm using a modified TASS + BOPACK + some events of my own and was wondering this.

Just got my hands on CK last night, and decided to use your mod pretty much from the get-go. But I've noticed one thing, and I don't know whether it's just a question of my own luck, the nation's ruler, or something else. That is, Frisia seems unable to produce Courtiers of Frisian culture. They're all, without fail, German. Is there any way I can change that?

That is because the culture of the ruler of Frisia has German culture. Change the culture of the ruler to Frisian and the courtiers that will appear will also have Frisian culture.

Now, I really love the TESS mod (especially the 'before the conquest' scenario's) but there is one thing that ticked me off. When I play the Anglo-Saxons in England, the (local) random courtiers still have Norman names like Darcy and Butler. I understand why this is, but it irked me a little. So I modded the dynasty file to replace the Norman family names in England with Anglo Saxon names.

Basically, what this file does is to replace all Darcy's and Butlers and Bacons and Seagraves with Leofricsons and Aelfgarsons and Cearlsons. Yes, I essentially just took Saxon first names and added 'son', but it should at least give the random courtiers a more 'Saxon' touch. I also replaced most of the local names like 'of Somerset' and 'of York' with their Saxon names (of Sumorsaet and of Eoforwic). The file can be found in the link below. Maybe it's of interest to some people.
