The bastard son of another ruler

My current ruler has a lot of bastard sons, as he is "lusty" and a bit simple minded when it comes to pass-time on crusades . I think I have about 10 of them running around doing no good....

Anyway, i got the "A bastard son of another ruler joins your court" event. I have yet to see anything good coming from this, but this time it actually turned out to be one of my own sons (bastard)! I'm pretty sure he didn't leave my court at any time. I wonder if I get the 50% chance to assasinate my self for 3 years income .

I had a bastard join my court and he in turn had another bastard son who also became part of my court. After the son had grown up I got a "Bastard is dissillusioned with life at your court" event for the father and I replied that I didn't care, so he apparantly defected. Then a short while later his son did the same, and I let him go too.

Then, bizarrely I had the same event AGAIN for the father... who had somehow returned to my court from wherever he'd been... followed by the son AGAIN. This happened a number of times... until I got tired of it and had them both executed for being irritating (via the F12 DIE command).

I am currently William The Conqueror... who ironically, is a bastard.
