Wow, quite a competent young lad you got there. Let's hope the outcome of his education will be very good.

And it's a shame about your first conquest failing due to the King's peace deal, but perhaps it's best to wait a while, until your regiment gets a bit bigger :)

Don't you just hate Kings, always stifling ambitious counts. And to win with 214 men against 349 is quite impressive.

Sometimes you need an early disappointment to really inpire a young man to do great things.

They say lightning doesn't strike twice but.... oh bugger.
My HD just went "flop", exactly on the same day that my wife gave me a combo pack of HOI2 + EU2 she bought yesterday... and the worst part, about 30GB of stuff I had on HD and was planning to burn to DVD this weekend were lost.... not to mention my CK savegame.....

I think I should just stop making AAR's; seems i'm a very unlucky guy.

Heh. An amazing stroke of bad luck with the HD, and I guess you won't be playing CK much with the new games either. Too bad, young Egil was full of potential.

But a good wife you got there! She had a very good taste in presents :D

I'll play CK and the others as soon as I finish installing my backup HD, which only has 30G capacity... and in the meantime I have my laptop which is where I am writing this from... meh. I need a new computer.

Edit: eh, she knew what to buy me because I always have a small "to get" list on my desktop, she just saw what I wanted to buy and went and got a discount combo pack that had HOI2 and EU2, very good choice nonetheless. :p

Certainly a change of pace from his father, even with the backstabbing King. Keep at it.
