The CK and EU Merger

When we get to the point that the big CK/EU merger takes place I understand that the provinces will be considered and then formed together to make the new kingdoms... So I have a couple of questions:

1) Will some of these be brand new nations to our venerable EU or will they be assigned the EU names based on their location? So for example, if I've carved out my dynasty in the Savoy area, will that simply become Savoy or will I be able to form a new Kingdom?
2) Since it sounds like we'll have our own little dynasties, will we then have new leaders/monarchs/events once we merge or will we inherit the old EU ones?

I'm really looking forward to this game btw. Hope you beta testers are catching all the bugs to make it work!

I got a feeling that such a merger will not be possible after all, they seem to be two completely different games with different approaches to domestic policies, war and diplomacy - moreover no need to do that since we will not be able to reconvert EU 2 into Vicky as far as i understand and Vicky to HOI - so it is not worth doing it.
