Welcome to the Crusader Kings LibrAARy – a complete listing of CK AARs that you can read on this forum.

Since this is an ongoing and continually updated listing I would simply request that you PLEASE DO NOT POST in this thread.

I will do my best to update the LibrAARy as often as I can, I shall update the librAARy based mainly on the posts contained in the LibrAARy updates thread and update this thread every week or so. As I am human I will most likely make a mistake somewhere along the line, if you spot an error in the LibrAARy please send me a PM and I shall make any necessary corrections as soon as I can. I shall try to keep this librAARy similar to the other LibrAARy’s, but as Crusader Kings is quite different from other Paradox games there may be some differences in the LibrAARies format.

One difference immediately springs to mind; In the other LibrAARies each entry is accompanied by what nation the AAR is about, as Crusader Kings is fully dynamic a player may start the game as Duke of Brittany and end up as King of Navarre (for example) therefore making it impossible to state which 'nation' the AAR is about, I am not too sure on what to do about this, I decided upon stating which 'nation' (County, Duchy, Kingdom etc...) the player started the AAR as, but if you have any other ideas feel free to drop me a PM, any feedback will be welcomed.

EDIT: I have now decided to add the dynasty name to the LibrAARy entries as well, thanks goes to Lord Asharak for sugestions.

The format of the LibrARRy is as such:

Name of AAR
Title at the start of AAR (ie. Kingdom of France, etc.) Name of Dynasty (ie. de Bretagne etc,)
The name of the Author - (The date the AAR was started and finished (if applicable))

For now I will search through the CK AAR forum myself and update the LibrAARy as needed, but there will no doubt come a time when there will be too many AAR's to keep track of, and at that time a montly update thread will no doubt come into existance in order to help keep the LibrAARy up to date. There will be more information on this if and when it happens.

Now for some basic guidelines stolen from Stroph1 :)

Omissions in the LibrAARy may occur for several reasons: I may have missed it when doing the monthly updates; you may have forgotten to tell me about it (shame on you! ) in the update thread; or I may have removed it from the listing due to abandonment and brevity. This last reason is a somewhat contentious issue so let me spell out the rough guidelines I use when I delete a listing:

- An AAR is started and then abandoned within the first few posts without much “content” having been written. Since this is an arbitrary decision, I usually try to err on the side of leaving it in the listing. If you object to my having removed one of yours, let me know and I will “reinstate” it.
- An author specifically asks me to remove it from the listing. This can be done by any of the three methods listed above. If you later change your mind, I can always put it back if you ask me to.
- The thread has been closed or removed by a moderator or administrator for whatever reason. As a member, I adhere to requests from Paradox or their representatives in this matter and will comply with any instructions I receive. Appeals to this should be addressed directly to Paradox’s representatives and the listing will only be reinstated with the expressed authorization of said representatives.
