Playing as Aegon and I have conquered Westeros, now that I'm building King's Landing, is the Dragon Pit a good idea? I know it helps the Dragons breed more and stops them from flying away, but they are weaker. So good or bad idea?

I'd say in most cases it's good, especially in you don't have tons of dragon riders and you converted to the Faith. But if you keep Dragonstone, have a fair cohort of dragon riders in your family with the proper religion, you can make without. I believe it only increase your chances of hatching/taming a dragon by 2 or 2.5, considering you're Targaryen you're safe. And in the case a dragon fly to Dragonstone just go their to tame it.

Btw. how high is chance to actually face the dragon when choosing "face the dragon" decision? As High Valyrian character (not Targaryen dynasty but bastard son of Targaryen mother) i tried that decision for almost 5 years continously and dragon has always avoided me.

In my recent game I had martial 102 dragon that lived to ripe old age of 215 in Kingslanding and his last 60 years he eluded all facing attempts. My dynasty was high valyrian with valyrian religion and plenty of courtiers with valyrian faith and culture.

I think that it was originally from Ashai but afaik that should have nothing to do with it.

Dragons which are "shy" will be difficult to find and face. All Shadowlands dragons are "shy" by default.

Starting at the Conquest I have refrained from building it. There are still some 3 new dragons besides Balerion, Vhagar and Meraxes in the region so I would say it's ok.

Some dragons are living in King's Landing. Balerion prefers Dragonstone so I had to send my dragonless son to tame it (My current character had tamed another one while the previous ruler lived)

It seems the replacement rate is working out well, although if something were to happen and we had a dance of dragons maybe things would turn out badly. :p

I have also refrained from using the dragon decisions on sieges and battles to prevent injuries (I honestly haven't needed them :))
