So, I bought The Saxons and The Druids expansions from GamersGate but unfortunately for some reason I can't play The Druids (the game dutifully launches and everything but as if no DLC was installed)!

Ideas?

Try to launch the game with the shortcut of King Arthur: The Druids.

In the GamersGate version, if you launch the game with The Saxons shortcut - the Saxon and the Original Campaign will appear, but if you launch the game with The Druids shortcut, the Welsh and the Original Campaign will appear for you in the menu.

As far as I know.

That's what I've been trying to do... that worked out pretty well with the Saxons expansion, but to no avail with this one!

Tried some of the suggestions outlined but to no avail: it seems that the installer does indeed overwrite the files, rendering me unable to play both DLC.

Is there an alternative to that? Like, installing the Druids or the Saxons somewhere and then moving it to the correct location, so as to avoid overwriting?

INSTALLATION ADVICE:

Anyone buying these should note that the add-ons do not install by default to the right directory: you must install them to where the main game is located; on Windows 7 it's here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox\King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame

Make sure you select 'add shortcut to desktop' for each install.

Click on your Saxons shortcut and select properties. For Windows 7 it should read

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox\King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame\KingArthur.exe" win DLC:saxon

You Druids shortcut should read:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox\King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame\KingArthur.exe" win DLC:wales

If you own both of Saxons & Druids:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox\King Arthur - The Role-Playing Wargame\KingArthur.exe" win DLC:wales DLC:saxon

The shortcut should now give you the base game & Saxons & Druids campaigns
